Power Cuts
Should you experience a power cut please call 105 for UK Power Networks, the company who maintains the electricity cables in our area. If you need extra support during a power cut they recommend that you add your details to their Priority Services Register. This does not mean you will get power back any quicker, but they can offer additional support and help. Job Vacancy at The Ark - Steward

The Council is looking to appoint one person to share the role of Steward to The Ark. The hours are 25 per week over seven days on a week on week off basis and applicants will need to be able to work flexible hours, which will involve some late night working. The rate of pay is £10.00 per hour. You will be dealing with members of the public and will therefore be an Ambassador for The Ark. The work involves moving furniture, setting up and clearing rooms, cleaning and maintenance work.
