If you are searching for a delightful purpose-built modern venue for a wedding reception, christening party, anniversary celebration, children’s birthday party, conference, training session or any other function, then you need to look no further than ‘The Ark at Turners Hill’.  There are three rooms available for hire at The Ark.

Rooms can be arranged with seating to suit the occasion.  The Ark is easily accessible and has ample parking. Please contact the Parish Council Office to book and to enquire about availability. Charities and voluntary groups should contact us to discuss hire rates. Both the Dove Suite & Dunlop Hall are fitted with a hearing loop, please ask for details.

Bar Facilities

If you are providing alcoholic drinks for your guests you do not require a licence, however, if you are selling drinks to your guests you do. The Ark holds a Premises Licence authorised for the supply of alcohol.

Authorised Caterers

Hirers of The Ark may self-cater but, if external catering services are required, they must be provided by one of the councils approved caterers.  No other external catering services may be engaged.  Approved caterers are listed below, please use the links for full contact details.

13 to 25 year olds’ parties

The majority of birthday parties held at The Ark are very successful and enjoyable events. However, the very few that do present problems have led us to introduce the following conditions. We hope that you understand that we are doing so in order to protect the fabric, fixtures and fittings of The Ark and the quiet environment which residents are entitled to.
