The underlying remit of the Parish Council is to provide for the benefit of the village through good financial management. Turners Hill Parish Council strives to make improvements to the village and to support village organisations. Following the setting of a budget for the following year a request is submitted to the District Council for the funds required, known as the Parish precept which forms a small part of the council tax. The Parish accounts are audited both by an internal independent auditor and an externally appointed auditor.
