West Sussex County Council: Pedestrian Crossing Refurbishment – A22: London Road, East Grinstead – Starting 09.01.2023

Works are to upgrade obsolete traffic signals equipment with new poles, traffic signals controller and more energy efficient LED traffic signal heads, installing replacement traffic signal poles, the conversion to a Puffin style crossing which improves safety for users and reduces delays for motorists, as well as replacing the Pedestrian tactile paving.
These works will require temporary traffic lights throughout.
Please note that these works are weather dependant, West Sussex County Council will endeavour to inform us should there be significant changes to the programme.
